Our practice offers sedation methods to ensure that you receive the care you need in a comfortable, stress-free environment. We will work closely with you to determine the best dental sedation for your situation, taking into account your level of anxiety, medical history, and personal preferences.
We offer two primary sedation options:
- Inhaled Sedation – You’ll breathe in laughing gas, which quickly creates a state of relaxation and calm. You’ll remain fully conscious during your treatment. The effects will wear off quickly, allowing you to perform your normal activities after your visit.
- Oral Conscious Sedation – For this option, your dentist will prescribe a small pill for you to take before your appointment. The medication will put you in a state of deep relaxation, reducing your awareness of any sensations of your treatment.
In addition to dental sedation, we also use the innovative NuCalm system. This non-invasive approach uses a combination of relaxation techniques, such as neuroscience technology, electrotherapy stimulation, and soothing music. It helps you achieve a deep state of calm and relaxation during your exam or procedure.
